| Our firm conducts training sessions
regarding soluble salts and surface preparation. These sessions are
educational in nature and not sales oriented. We find ourselves in a
unique situation where we have concentrated our R&D efforts in this
specific area, and have learned a great deal of information we would
like to share. People in our organization sit on several pertinent
committees with industry leading organizations, such as NACE, ASTM, SSPC
and ISO. Because our products, CHLOR*RID and CHLOR*TEST,
cross over into almost every industry, we obtain information on how
things are being done differently, specified differently and perform
differently across industry lines. All in all, our resources are
unduplicated in the corrosion industry.
We have developed a Training Session focused on the most important
portions of that information. The materials are under constant update as
new information becomes available. The Training Sessions are free of
charge. Sessions have been conducted for the military, coating
manufacturers, abrasive suppliers, departments of transportation,
inspectors, technical and sales representatives, specifiers, applicators
and others. We introduce our products in the materials presented along
with other relevant products. The sessions are decidedly education
oriented.
Training Sessions are open to anyone wanting to attend. They are held
at various locations and times around the country. Anyone wanting to
attend can simply contact us, either by phone, fax or email. They will
then be notified when a session is going to be held in their locale. If
you are a manufacturer, governmental agency, inspection service, or
another group and have a sufficient number of attendees we will schedule
a specific session for you.
The major topics covered are:
How are specifications changing to address soluble salts?
What are soluble salts and where do they come from?
How do they impact coating performance?
How do you identify and test for them?
How do you remove them?
During the session all the commonly encountered methods of field
testing and removal are covered. At the conclusion of each session, a
Certificate of Training is issued to the individuals attending.
